Attack on Titan Fights Drug Abuse in Tokyo

posted on
Say no to drugs in International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking video

Attack on Titan takes on humanity's latest threat in Tokyo: drug abuse. To support the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking event near Tokyo's Shibuya station on June 27, an educational Attack on Titan video will run on monitors aboard Yamanote and other major train lines.

The blurb reads, "All of humanity, fight dangerous drugs!" and it features a Titan in the Japanese "batsu" ("No" or "Don't Do It") or "X" pose.

Attack on Titan's original manga creator Hajime Isayama personally supervised the educational video, which sets up dangerous drugs as "humanity's foe." The manga and anime characters exhort viewers, "Don't fall into temptation — have the strength to say 'no.'"
