Megadimension Neptunia VIIR VR Game's Video Highlights Characters

Compile Heart began streaming a promotional video for its Shin Jigen Neptune VIIR (Megadimension Neptunia Victory II Realize) virtual reality game last week. The video highlights the game's characters, the contents of its "Memorial Edition," and the pre-order bonuses.
The game will get a "Memorial Edition" release in Japan, which includes a box with exclusive art by Tsunako, a scrapbook and memorial sticker, a purse, and a special CD. Those who pre-order the game will get a special set of four weapons for four different characters in the game.
The game is the first VR game in the Neptune/Neptunia franchise. The game launches for the PlayStation 4 in Japan on August 24. Players can play the game on their PS4 without owning a PlayStation VR device. The website describes the game as a "virtual dive RPG" with "Nep Nep VR events."
The latest game in the Neptune/Neptunia franchise, Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online, shipped for the PS4 in Japan on February 9. Idea Factory International will release the game in North America and Europe this winter for the PS4 and for PC via Steam.
Idea Factory released the Megadimension Neptunia VII game for the PlayStation 4 in Japan in April 2015, and then released the game in the West in February 2016. Idea Factory released the game on PC via Steam last July.
