Tokyo Chronos VR Visual Novel Launches for PC on March 20

The official website of MyDearest's Tokyo Chronos VR visual novel project revealed on January 19 that the game will ship for the Oculus and Vive via Steam on March 20. A demo for the game is already available. The game is planned to release for the PlayStation VR in July.
The game's official YouTube channel has also been streaming character videos for the game in the past week.
Sekai Project launched a Kickstarter campaign for the visual novel last July, and the campaign raised US$90,625, surpassing the original funding goal of US$75,000.
Sekai Project describes the visual novel:
Tokyo Chronos is a mystery novel about 8 childhood friends separated from the reality of this world, and trapped in an empty Shibuya, barren of any other souls. As time and space seemingly comes to a halt, the eight begin to disappear, one by one. What has happened to this world? What is happening to the ones trapped inside this hollow void? Who is the culprit that set the mystery in motion in a space that stands still.
The companies plan to release the game in Japanese, English, and Chinese. Eir Aoi is performing the opening song "UNLIMITED" for the game.
The cast so far includes:

- Shouko Yuzuki as Yuria Togoku
- Yūto Uemura as Kosuke Sakurai
- Ibuki Kido as Yu Momono
- Romi Park as Sai Kamiya
- Azu Sakura as Ai Morozumi
- Keisuke Ueda as Sota Machikoji
- Yūki Kaji as Tetsu Kageyama
Haruki Kashiwakura (motion director for Expelled from Paradise, 3D animator for Penguindrum, Strike Witches 2, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic) is directing the VR project at VR content company MyDearest, and illustrator LAM is designing the characters. Novelist Kou Segawa (Konya, Kimi ni Korosareta Toshitemo) is writing the scenario. Kazuma Miki (producer for A Certain Magical Index, Sword Art Online franchises) is producing the work. Sekai Project will publish the work, and Tokyo Otaku Mode Inc. is a production partner.
