The facial expressions are really awful at conveying emotions. It's to the point where it comes across as a dub, despite being animated to the English performances.

This feels like a filler project, something slapped together because Hathaway is backed up in production, Crossbone won't happen till Hathaway is done, and the Legendary Gundam movie is coming roughly never. And I get what they're going for, but...no, it just makes me want them to animate the Origin manga proper, even though it's been made clear that doing so is a complete non-starter.

Welp, I don't really have the urge to watch Gundam after that trailer, but I sure do wanna hop into & control a Wanzer for some inexplicable reason now....

Character animation looks pretty meh, mecha stuff is...ok I guess. Gouf looks cool but whats with CGI anime and the gatling gun the barrels are not even spinning...

You hit the nail on head. I have no idea what is going on with the legendary project. Sunrise pretty much won't have anything new now that they have finished an au, the long awaited seed movie, cucuruz Doan, and hathaway 1. Hathaway 2 won't even start production till 2025. |
