See All the Snow Miku 2016 Sights in Digest Video

Every year, Sapporo throws the Snow Miku 2016 festival and rakes in over 100 million yen (about US$839,433) in revenue, with about 40 different companies participating in the promotion. This year's design was sporty, with Miku decked out in owl-themed gear and ready to take on the slopes. The virtual idol's new song "Yuki Ga Tokeru Mae Ni" ("Before the Snow Melts") by doriko debuted in November, Sapporo repurposed its trains as Snow Miku itasha, and the New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido gave its Sky Town shopping area a Snow Miku makeover.
