Square Enix announced on Friday that its Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier smartphone game will launch globally in November 17. The company streamed the opening movie:
The game is a battle royale-style game that takes place 30 years before the main Final Fantasy VII game.
The game will have controller support, and will also have a training mode. Additionally, Square Enix is revamping the game's tutorial.
Square Enix is also developing the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis smartphone game, which will launch worldwide in 2022.
